Whether you're grappling with the complexities that come with pregnancy or new parenthood, navigating the grief and loss of a loved one, or struggling in a relationship, I'm here to offer a supportive and understanding space for you to heal and grow.

I’m Kayla Burch, a therapist with a deep commitment to supporting you through life's challenging moments. My approach is rooted in the belief that every person's journey is unique. Whether you're seeking individual guidance or couple's counseling I’m dedicated to providing a safe, supportive space, where we'll work together to explore your feelings, understand your experiences, and foster a path towards healing and empowerment.

With a heart rooted in Atlanta, I bring a wealth of diverse experience and a vibrant spirit to the field of therapy. My educational journey began at Dillard University in New Orleans and culminated at Northcentral University, where I honed my expertise in Marriage and Family Therapy. My commitment to service spans over 15 years, with a focus on youth development, program planning, and delivering impactful treatment to families, couples, and individuals across various settings.

Balancing personal and family life is a journey I deeply understand, both as a professional and a mother. I believe in creating a warm, nurturing environment that encourages personal growth and strengthens relationships. Let's navigate these challenges together, with compassion and understanding as our guides.

I work with clients who are 18-years old and above, and offer both in-person and virtual sessions. I receive clinical direction and secondary supervision from Jaime Filler LMFT.

Kayla’s areas of clinical interest include pregnancy and postpartum therapy, couples therapy, anxiety therapy, depression therapy, therapy for college and graduate students, and grief and loss.

Alisha Uppal, LAPC, Therapist

Are you grappling with constant anxiety about things you can’t control? Maybe you're facing major changes in your life and relationships, and feeling overwhelmed by the transitions. Or perhaps you're at a point where you wish to explore your identity and gain new skills to enhance your relationship dynamics.

Going to therapy and talking about the difficult parts of your life isn’t always easy, but it can be a courageous step towards personal growth and self-awareness.

I am here to help guide you on this path of introspection and change.

I believe that the therapeutic process is an ongoing journey of self-reflection as well as a pathway to develop the tools needed to manage symptoms and align ourselves more with our goals. By incorporating evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy with self-compassion and acceptance focused models, I alter my approach in therapy to fit your individual needs. For couples therapy, I utilize the Gottman method to help couples improve their relationships.

I am passionate about working with young professionals and college and graduate students who are struggling with anxiety and perfectionism. I also enjoy working with individuals and couples who are navigating relationships, experiencing life transitions, and exploring their identities. I work with clients who are 18 years old and above. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions for individuals and couples, and provide therapy in both English and Hindi.

I am currently licensed in the state of Georgia as an Associate Professional Counselor (APC 007968). I earned my M.S. in Counseling with an emphasis on Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University, and a B.A. in Psychology, English, & Classical Studies from Emory University. I receive clinical supervision from Amy Robbins LPC CPCS, and direction and secondary supervision from Jaime Filler LMFT.

Olga A. Attebery, LAMFT, LAPC, Therapist

Olga A. Attebery is a Therapist in Decatur, GA.

Sometimes in the midst of struggle it is hard to be hopeful. When it’s hard, it is my privilege to hold hope for you.

As a first-generation American I am sensitive to the complexities of a multi-cultural existence. My role as a therapist is to provide a tranquil space in which to nurture hope. I strongly align with a person-centered approach to therapy, wherein the therapy relationship is collaborative. I will work together with you to set and work toward your goals.

My therapeutic perspective also relies heavily on family systems, which requires consideration of a client's whole family dynamic and how it shaped them. Additionally, if a client desires to include their faith perspective in therapy, I am able to incorporate faith as much or as little as desired. Time with clients is sacred and it is important to me that my clients enter into a space where they feel safe, understood, and supported.

I work with both men and women, as well as couples. I have a passion for working with couples through affair recovery and other difficult transitions. I am a Certified Couples Betrayal Recovery Therapy Candidate (CCBRT-C). I’m also trained in the Gottman method and use this approach along with techniques from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help my couples reach their relationship goals. I also have a passion for working with trauma, grief and loss, affair recovery/betrayal trauma, and addictions.

I am currently dual licensed in the state of GA as an Associate Professional Counselor (APC008598) and as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT000767). I have earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University, and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology with a certificate in Latin American Studies and Global Studies Certification from Georgia Gwinnett College. I am a member of the Georgia Association of Marriage & Family Therapists, American Association for Marriage & Family Therapists, American Counseling Association (ACA), and Christian Association of Psychological Studies (CAPS).

I am supervised by S. LaShay Dowley PhD (c), LPC and receive clinical direction from Jaime Filler LMFT. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions.

My hope is that your time with me will be an opportunity to exhale any heaviness that you are holding and inhale hope for the future. I strongly believe that you have the potential for a brighter tomorrow.

Jaime Filler, LMFT, PMH-C, Clinical Director

Jaime Filler is a Therapist in Decatur GA Specializing in Pregnancy and Postpartum

The decision to begin therapy can be a difficult one. It is my goal to build a strong relationship with each person who comes to my office, to help them feel comfortable so they can fully benefit from the therapeutic process. In therapy, I often use humor to put my clients at ease and lighten the mood when it is appropriate. My collaborative and supportive approach allows my clients to draw on their own strengths to overcome current obstacles and begin to make positive changes in their lives.

I utilize an integrative approach to therapy. This means what works for one person does not always work for another and I tailor my approach to fit each unique client. In my practice, I use evidenced-based therapeutic methods, such as cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness, in addition to family systems theory. I am also trained in the Gottman Method for couple’s therapy and EMDR for trauma.

I have experience working with a variety of issues that impact adults, couples, and families. My areas of focus include maternal mental health, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship problems. I am particularly passionate about working with women and their partners who are struggling with the challenges that come with becoming a new parent. I am a certified Gottman Bringing Baby Home Program Educator, and provide workshops to help couples in the transition to parenthood.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT001198) , Certified Perinatal Mental Health Specialist (PMH-C), and AAMFT Approved Clinical Supervisor. I earned a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from San Jose State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. I’m a member of Postpartum Support International and a clinical member of the Georgia Association of Marriage & Family Therapists and the American Association for Marriage & Family Therapists.

I offer both in-person and virtual sessions.

On a personal note, I enjoy traveling and exploring new cultures, cooking, practicing yoga and getting out into nature with my family.
