A workshop to help couples navigate new parenthood together

The greatest gift you can give your baby is a strong relationship between the two of you.
— Drs. John & Julie Gottman

The birth of a baby can be a joyous and exciting time for a couple. However, navigating parenthood can put a strain on even the strongest of relationships. Join us for Hey Baby!, a couples workshop to help you prepare for what happens once you bring baby home.

In a fun and safe environment, you will learn:

  • how to improve your friendship, communication, and intimacy

  • strategies to better parent your child together

  • how to develop a secure, loving bond with your baby

  • signs of postpartum depression and anxiety and resources available

Hey Baby! is ideal if you are planning to conceive, pregnant, adopting, or have a baby younger than 1 year.

Hey Baby! is adapted from the research-based Brining Baby Home program from the Gottman Institute. Hey Baby! presenters are certified Bringing Baby Home Educators.

Drs. Gottman and colleagues, after decades of research, found that the best predictor of marital adjustment after baby arrives is the quality of friendship in the marriage. Bringing Baby Home combines scientific research, education, interactive exercises, and skill building to improve the quality of life for babies and children by strengthening the family. Parents build relationship satisfaction and enable healthy social, emotional, and intellectual development for their children. Research shows that taking a Bringing Baby Home class makes a difference!
