The birth of a baby can be a joyous and exciting time for a couple. However, navigating parenthood puts a strain on even the strongest of relationships. Join us for Hey Baby!, a couples workshop to help you prepare for what happens once you bring baby home.

In a fun and safe environment, you will learn:

  • how to improve your friendship, communication, and intimacy
  • strategies to better parent your child together
  • how to develop a secure, loving bond with your baby
  • signs of postpartum depression and anxiety and resources available

Hey Baby! is ideal if you are planning to conceive, pregnant, adopting, or have a baby younger than 1 year.

Shubha Swamy, LPC

Shubha Swamy is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 18 years of experience.  She has advanced training in anxiety disorders, trauma work, infertility issues and postpartum mood issues.

Currently Shubha is on the executive board of the Atlanta Fertility Mental Health Consortium, is the co-founder of Atlanta Fertility Support Alliance (AFSA), and manages a thriving private practice in North Atlanta.  She has been featured on public access shows as an expert in the field of mental health + parenting and infertility issues, she is a regular guest speaker at infertility support groups with the Jewish Fertility Foundation and consults with OB-GYNS and Reproductive Endocrinologists in Atlanta. She is heavily invested in providing counseling support, education, and maintaining the highest standards of care for Reproductive-Postpartum Mental Health. Jaime Filler, LMFT

Jaime Filler is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in Downtown Decatur and has been working in the field of mental health since 2005. In her practice, Jaime enjoys working with both couples and individuals and specializes in maternal mental health. Jaime is passionate about supporting mothers and their partners through challenges that arise during pregnancy and the postpartum period. 

Jaime is currently an Advisory Council Member of Postpartum Support International, Georgia Chapter, and serves on their Programs and Education committee. Jaime regularly provides consultation to pediatricians offices to provide education and assistance in implementing screening for new parents to identify risks of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Jaime is also a Gottman Bringing Baby Home Educator. On a personal note, Jaime is a mother of two and avid lover of all things outdoors. More....
